Former Test cricketer and chief selector Salahuddin Ahmed Sallu has said that Pakistan players' strong mentality have helped them to claim victory over England in the second Test.
Pakistan secured a huge 178-run win over England in the second Test of the three-match series in Dubai.
Praising the skipper, Salahuddin said Misbah-ul-Haq performed really well and his intelligent moves provided his side with a win, the Dawn reported.
He also acknowledged Pakistan bowlers for not losing hope and performing at their best for the team.
He said that the win has surely boosted the confidence of the player, adding that he hopes they would clinch the series.
With the win, Pakistan are currently in lead with 1-0 against England after first match between the two sides ended with the draw.
The final and the series decider match between the two sides will be held from November 1 in Sharjah.
