Kabir Khan's 'Tubelight' will have Salman Khan playing a "special" role for the first time in his career.
According to a DNA report, sources said that the 50-year-old actor will be portraying a man-child, who is a bit slow in learning things.
"It would also be the first time when Salman would play a 'special' role in his career where he doesn't do the usual or play to the gallery. Kabir has taken special effort to make sure that the character is presented sensitively in the film," source said.
The 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan' director took to his Twitter handle two days back to post a picture from the location and wrote alongside, "So here we are... It all begins on the 28th... #Tubelight @BeingSalmanKhan"
Reportedly, the film is about an Indian guy falling in love with a girl from China, in the backdrop of Indo-China war during 1960-62.
