Samsung's head of mobile marketing Lee Sang-chul has said that the company expects the Galaxy sales to hit the highest record ever in the model's series with the new Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge.
According to the Verge, analysts are expecting the new devices to sell as many as 50 million units in 2015 alone after positive reviews across the board for the S6 and S6 Edge.
Samsung's head of mobile, JK Shin said that that demand for the Edge was outstripping supply owing to both increased orders from carriers and the difficulty of manufacturing the Edge's curved screen.
Samsung's Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge have gone on sale in the US, UK, Germany, and France and other markets.
