Samsung's damage amount to Apple worth 16 days profit

Samsung's damages amount to Apple is reportedly equivalent to profits earned by Samsung in a period of 16 days.

Samsung was ordered to pay 930 million dollars to Apple for copying latter's smartphone designs.

According to the PC World, quarterly operating profit from Samsung's IT and mobile communications division came to $5.1 billion, which can be roughly calculated to 56.6 million dollars per day.

Interestingly, for Apple, the 'damage' amount is equal to the profit it makes in just 8 days.
