The Supreme Court on Thursday dismissed petition seeking Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) to investigate into admission of Madhya Pradesh-Pre Engineering Test (PET) which was held in 2012-13.
The plea in the Supreme Court was filed by activist Anand Rai.
In his petition, Rai had alleged that irregularities and a gross misconduct was being done by students in the entrance examinations, so a CBI investigation should be made into the case.
Albeit, a bench of the Apex Court headed by Justice Ranjan Gogoi, comprising Justice Navin Sinha, did not find any merit in the petition thus refused to hear it and dismissed it.
