The Supreme Court on Monday rejected the bail plea of self-styled god man Asaram Bapu, saying that his application would be heard after the conduction of a medical test.
The medical test of the self-styled god man, who had sought the bail plea on grounds of ill-health, is scheduled to be done on December 3.
The apex court had earlier ordered a medical examination of Asaram, while hearing his bail plea in connection with a rape case filed against him in Gujarat.
Asaram was arrested in September last year after a 16-year-old girl lodged a police complaint on August 20, 2013, accusing him of sexually assaulting her at his ashram in Jodhpur.
