Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has heavily criticised his players for showing lackluster display during their 2-2 draw against Newcastle in their Premier League clash.
The defending champions were trailing 0-2 before they produced a spirited fightback in the second half, thanks to the Brazilian duo of Ramires and Willian, to narrowly avoid defeat at Newcastle.
Reflecting on Chelsea's first-half performance, Mourinho said that there were too many awful individual performances, adding that 'it is impossible for a team to be a team,' with such bad displays, the Guardian reported.
However, Mourinho heaped praise on substitutes Ramires and Willian saying that the Brazilian duo took the game to a different level and brought them both the goals to earn the point.
Chelsea are 15th in the league table with eight points while Newcastle are languishing down at 19th after seven games.
