'MasterChef' finalist Josh Marks's mother has claimed that her son committed suicide because he couldn't deal with his recent Schizophrenia diagnosis.
Marks's mum, Paulette Mitchell, told the Chicago Tribune that her 26-year-old son had finally come to terms with his bi-polar disorder, but he couldn't bear the thought of another diagnosis, TMZ.com reported.
She asserted to the publication that the reality star was troubled with the doctor's verdict so she stayed with her son for the night and left the next afternoon to pick her daughter up from school.
Mitchell said that after a few hours had gone by, she got a call from a relative who told her that Marks was seen walking through a nearby alley with a gun.
Mitchell added that she rushed over to the alleyway to look for her son, but instead found him dead from a fatal gunshot wound and a revolver at his side.
