Scottish media has claimed that defending US Open Champion Andy Murray has had success in recent years because of his changed attitude and confidence.
According to The Scotsman, a year ago, Murray was still wondering if he was really good enough to beat the world's best to win the biggest titles but today, with two of those titles to his name already, he knows he is good enough.
The report said that Murray is now more mature and is more experienced.
It is this confidence that made all the difference in a difficult match for the Wimbledon Champion, the report added.
Murray himself said that it was not easy to close out against Nadal or Federer and it is important to keep as many balls in play as possible because opponents could make unforced errors.
