Security forces gun down Bodo terrorist in Assam

The security forces shot dead a Bodo terrorist named B. Jablang in Assam's Kokrajhar district on Saturday.

Inspector General of Police, L.R. Bishnoi, said the slain terrorist was the platoon commander of the National Democratic Front of Bodoland (NDFB) Songbijit faction in the district.

He further said that a joint team of police and Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) launched an operation at Kaushibazar area under Serfanguri police station.

B. Jablang alias Jagat Basumatary was involved in the recent massacre in Kokrajhar district.
