Bangladesh all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan will be returning as the skipper for the home series against West Indies.
The 31-year-old had been on sidelines in the wake of a finger injury he sustained during the Asia Cup.
Following Hasan's comeback, all-rounder Soumya Sarkar and uncapped spinner Naeem Hasan have been recalled and drafted respectively to the team.
Taijul Islam, who was adjourned as the player of the series against Zimbabwe, and Mushfiqur Rahim, who notched up his second Test double-century in Mirpur, will feature in the squad.
Meanwhile, Liton Das, Nazmul Hossain Shanto and Shaiful Islam, who were all part of the squad for the two-Test series against Zimbabwe, have been dropped for the first Test.
Bangladesh will take on West Indies in a two-match Test series starting from November 22.
