Indrani Mukerjea, the prime accused in Sheena Bora murder case, on Wednesday filed an application in the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) Court seeking the call records of her husband Peter Mukerjea alleging his role in the disappearance of her daughter.
Indrani has sought Peter's call data for the years 2012 and 2015 and alleged that he may have a direct role in the disappearance of Bora.
In the application, Indrani said she suspects that Peter has manipulated the circumstances to frame her with the help of driver Shyamvar Rai, who has now turned approver in the case.
The much talked Sheena Bora murder case, which took place on April 24, 2012, came to light in 2015 with the arrest of Rai.
Indrani, her ex-husband and Rai have been accused of strangling 24-year-old Sheena.
Her burnt body was dumped in a bag in the forests in Raigad district near Mumbai.
The trio was arrested in August 2015, while Peter was arrested later in November 19 that year.
