Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit has been conferred with the Polio Eradication Champion Award by Rotary International.
The award was given at a function here on Friday. It was given in recognition of her government's efforts in overcoming the challenge of polio.
On the occasion, Dikshit complimented the team of Delhi Government, doctors, officers supporting staff and health ministers for their works in this direction.he said there had not been a single case of polio reported in Delhi over the last three years.
