Former Delhi chief minister Sheila Dikshit on Monday said she would like to see Delhi having a stable government.

She said all she wanted to see now was a stable government for Delhi, but added that the Congress would have no part to play in the alliance formation.

When asked what she thought AAP would do now, she said, "I can't answer for the AAP".

Congress President Sonia Gandhi on Sunday said the results are very disappointing and party needs to do deep introspection.

Briefing reporters here, Gandhi said that price rise was an issue in this election and people were unhappy, otherwise they would not have given such a mandate.

Party Vice President Rahul Gandhi said that the election results have given a message to the Congress and it will transform itself to stand up to the expectation of the people. He also said the party need to move ahead and give serious space to common masses.

The debutant Aam Aadmi Party registered a historic win, defeating several political heavyweights of ruling party and opposition in Delhi.

Its convener Arvind Kejriwal pulled off a major upset against three-time Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit, defeating her with a thumping margin of over 25,864 votes in New Delhi constituency.
