Australian Test bowler Peter Siddle has scotched talk of resting a quickie for the Adelaide Test, and expects to confront England with an unchanged attack.
According to The Age, the bowlers' light workloads in Brisbane and the 10-day break between games has put Ryan Harris on track to play at Adelaide Oval despite the anticipated punishing conditions.
, who had to pull out of last summer's Perth Test after bowling a mountain of overs in the previous fixture in Adelaide, said there was no need to contemplate rotations at this stage as Australia attempts to stretch its early Ashes lead, the report said.
He added that the biggest judge was the coach, Darren Lehmann, and he spoke about keeping the same side out there and keeping the same bowlers.
He further said that it is pretty well documented that he workloads they bowled in the Brisbane Test were a lot lighter than they had in the first few Sheffield Shield games.
James Faulkner, 12th man in Brisbane, is not playing in the Shield but that is because Lehmann wants the whole squad to assemble in Adelaide on Sunday, the report added.
