Simon Cowell recently said that One Direction's former member Zayn Malik's comments about why he left the boy band were rude.
The 56-year-old TV producer in a recent interview said that the band's songs were a very, very democratic process, reports people Magazine.
He added that that the 22-year-old singer's comments are bit rude to the people who wrote all the hits with them.
Malik left the band in March. While the news dominated headlines, Cowell said he hasn't thought about Malik's departure much since then.
