The 'Woman in Gold's director Simon Curtis has confessed that he was a tea boy to his movie's actress Helen Mirren, when he was 18.

The 55-year-old British film director said that he was working at a theatre in London to gain some experience and was allotted to work as an assistant of the Academy award winning actress, New York Post reported.

Curtis added that he used to do Mirren's work like helping with her fan mail and all the other favors that she required.
