Sochi: PM Modi enjoys yatch-ride with Putin

Prime Minister Narendra Modi went on a yacht-ride with President Vladimir Putin on Monday as part of a one-day Indo-Russian informal summit.

After wrapping up one-one discussion with Putin, Prime Minister Modi was seen enjoying a yacht-ride in the Black sea of the Atlantic Ocean situated in Eastern Russia.

Earlier Prime Minister Modi held one-one talks with President Putin, in which he reiterated the strong bilateral relations between two countries.

He further termed the Indo-Russian bilateral relations as a special privileged partnership.

He also highlighted Russia's role in helping India secure a permanent seat in the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation.

The Prime Minister's visit to Sochi is the first to be undertaken by an Indian Prime Minister.

He is scheduled to visit Sirius Educational Center in Sochi. It is a centre imparting creative skills to its pupil which started jointly by Russian Ministry of Culture, the Russian Ministry of Education and Science, the Russian Ministry of Sports under the leadership of President Putin.

Prime Minister Modi will depart for India tonight.
