Toni Braxton's new memoir 'Unbreak My Heart' tells the aching story of her past relating to her son's autism.
The Grammy award-winning artist has revealed that her book talks about the time when she used to believe that her son's autism was a punishment from God because of a pregnancy she terminated a decade ago, the New York Post reported.
According to E! News, Braxton wrote that in her heart she believed that she had taken a life and thought that God might one day punish her for the same.
She further stated that later on she was worried that her prescribed Accutane acne medication would harm her fetus but she just wasn't ready to have a child.
Braxton's candid memoir also includes her journey through her two bankruptcies and her lupus diagnosis.
