Sonakshi's 'Akira' to hit theatres on Sept. 23
Bollywood actress Sonakshi Sinha recently unveiled the release date of her upcoming collaboration with A.R. Murugadoss, 'Akira.'
The 28-year-old actress took to her Twitter handle and wrote, "Guys super thrilled to announce @ARMurugadoss is back after Ghajini and Holiday. My action thriller #Akira releasing on 23rd Sept."
Interestingly, as soon as Sonakshi broke the news hashtag 'Akira' started trending on the micro-blogging site.
"Woo hoo!! I knew ud be excited... #akira is trending and 23rd September it is," the 'Dabangg' star tweeted.
This is Sonakshi's second film with the director; she was previously seen in Murugadoss' 'Holiday' with Akshay Kumar.
The action drama will have a box office clash with Ayushmann Khurrana and Bhumi Pednekar starrer 'Manmarziyan' which is being produced by Aanand L. Rai.
