Three children were killed and one was critically injured on late Saturday night by a speeding car in Amroha District on National Highway 24.
The injured child was rushed to the district hospital.
Police has arrested the driver of the vehicle and are investigating the matter.
The car was traveling from Muradabad towards Delhi at a high speed and ran over two kids who were on the road. Soon after hitting the two kids, the driver lost control over the car and it went on to hit two more kids who were on the side of the road. Three of the four kids died on the spot.
A number of enraged people blocked the national highway for nearly an hour and it was only after police intervention that they managed to open it.
