A 'Star Trek' was apparently so enamored by the hit V show that she spent 30,000 dollars to make her basement look like a starship suite.

Canadian social worker, Line Rainville, re-created parts of the Enterprise bridge, transporter room, recreation room, observation deck, and even Spock's quarters in her home in Notre-Dame-des-Prairies, Quebec, CNET reported.

A designer she consulted had never watched the hit TV show, but gave her some ideas.

Rainville started by creating furniture for the stations on the Enterprise bridge, which would face a central viewing screen; she also searched eBay for replica panel buttons while searching for the exact shade of red for the paint.

Other things that she bought online were tricorder and 3D chess set; she re-created many props seen in the original series, like food replicators for recreation room, utility piping in the Enterprise corridors, a set of Vulcan bells (seen in "Amok Time"), and the colored floppy disk-style rectangles used by the Enterprise crew.

She searched for a fabric that looked like the one seen on the bed in Spock's quarters, but ultimately made her own bedspread with the same pattern, as well as a blue throw blanket.
