State wide polio immunization drive held in Manipur
The first round of the Intensified Pulse Polio Immunization Programme was recently carried out all over Manipur.
Children in the age group of 0-5 were administered a dose of oral polio vaccine.
The state has opened over 3000 polio booths in addition to the health care centres.
India is currently at the stage of being declared polio free as no fresh case has been reported in the last 3 years.
