A fierce critic of US President Donald Trump, Stephen Colbert is all set to executive produce a new animated comedy about Trump's White House.
'The Late Show' host sold the series- based on the animated Donald Trump seen in Colbert's Showtime election-night special and on his CBS show- to Showtime.
It has already been picked up for 10 episodes.
"I know a lot of people wanted to do this, and I'm honored that the Cartoon President invited our documentary crew into his private world," Colbert said in a statement about the pick-up, reports
"I've seen some of the footage, and I look forward to sharing the man behind the MAGA."
Colbert has teamed up with 'The Late Show' show-runner, Chris Licht, on the project.
