Television actor and Emmy-award winning artist Sterling K. Brown has made his entry in the history books, as he became the first African-American actor to take home a Golden Globe for 'Best Performance by an Actor (Male) in a TV series, Drama'.
Beating out a stacked category that included Jason Bateman, Freddie Highmore, Bob Odenkirk and Liev Schrieber, Brown began his speech with a beautiful message to his beloved wife.
"Don't want to run out of time, so let me thank my wife. Ryan Michelle Bathe, I love you so much. Thank you for supporting me through the whole thing," said Brown.
It was his first Golden Globe win, and the first time he was nominated at the awards for 'This Is Us'.
After thanking his cast and the network, he turned his attention to the drama's creator, Dan Fogelman, who he thanked for providing him with the first role in his career that could only be played by a man such as himself.
Meanwhile, actress Elisabeth Moss continued her winning streak at the 2018 Golden Globes, as she took home the trophy the award for Best Actress in a Drama Series ('The Handmaid's Tale').
Carol Burnett and Jennifer Aniston presented Moss with the award. "Carol Burnett," she said in disbelief, adding, "Ok, I have to go fast."
During her acceptance speech, Moss took a moment to thank her Handmaid's Tale cast and crew and spoke on behalf of 'The Handmaid's Tale' author Margaret Atwood, who was unable to attend the ceremony.
She said, "We lived in the blank, white spaces on the edge of print. It gave us more freedom. We lived in the gaps between the stories."
Moss then gave a special shout out to her family by saying, "My mom and my brother, you are the hero and heroine of my life."
Meanwhile, it should be noted that 'The Handmaid's Tale' will return for season two in April.
Seth Meyers is hosting the 75th annual Golden Globe Awards, which is taking at the Beverly Hilton.
