Pop superstar Taylor Swift was dismissed as a jury member in Nashville following her assertion that she may be biased with her decision in wake of the pending civil case involving sexual assault against her.

During the court session, 'Love Story' hit-maker disclosed that she already has a civil case to her name in Colorado that came after a DJ fondled her backstage at a concert.

The incident took place in 2013 prior to a performance at the Denver Pepsi Center.

The 'Shake it Off' singer accused the Colorado-based DJ David Mueller of groping her bottom forcefully when they were posing for a photo together

While the DJ was later fired from his radio job and tried to sue Swift for making the accusation. Notably, the singer is counter suing.

The case that Taylor had to judge was an aggravated rape and kidnapping case that "involved a man, who allegedly penetrated a woman with a broom handle after holding her at bay," according to the Daily Mail.

Despite dealing with some heavy emotions in the court room, the 26-year-old crooner looked in good spirits.

The singer was spotted in basic black as she took took selfies with fans, signed autographs and flashed the girl-next-door charm.
