Taylor Swift's new album '1989' has topped the maximum sales by any album in its very first week, it has been revealed.
The 24-year-old's latest album which has debuted at No. 1 on America's Billboard 200 albums chart has already sold 1.287 million copies in its first week, the BBC reported.
According to Billboard that is the largest sales week for an album since Eminem's 'The Eminem Show ' that was released 12 years ago.
The 'Shake it Off' hitmaker is now the only act to earn three million-selling weeks with an album.
