India's Corporate Tata Consultancy Services has launched gamifies app, iElect on the Android platform that provides people an understanding about India's general elections in 2014.
Pradipta Bagchi, VP and head Corporate Communication at TCS, said that the app is intended to engage nearly 100 million first time voters in India, a country where there are also an immense proportion of smartphone users.
He further added that iElect harnesses the power of social media, big data, analytics and mobility to make sense of what seems to be a complex web of conversations, Enterprise Innovation reports.
According to the report, the app provides access to insights and trends on a real-time basis, where users of the app are enabled to cut through the clutter, drown out the noise, and make sense of the world's largest democratic event.
