After the success of 'Ram-Leela' and 'Bajirao Mastani,' it's abuzzed that Sanjay Leela Bhansali has roped in Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh for yet another period love story that is set to go on the floors this September.
The 30-year-old actress, during a recent media interaction in Spain, said that she will begin shooting for her next film in September. However, she did not reveal which film it is going to be.
On the other hand, Filmfare confirmed that Bhansali is going to begin filming his next movie 'Padmavati' in September and he is aiming to finish it within six months.
Hence, speculations are rife that both are talking about the same movie.
Reportedly, the 'Devdas' film-maker has signed Ranveer Singh to play Allauddin Khilji and Deepika Padukone to play Rani Padmavati.
It is also heard that 'Masaan' famed Vicky Kaushal has been finalised to play the leggy lass' husband in this love story.
The film is supposedly based on tyrant emperor Alauddin Khilji's obsession for Padmavati, the queen of Chittor.
Bhansali had earlier directed an opera of the same name and theme, which was widely appreciated in Paris.
Prakash Kapadia, who scripted 'Bajirao Mastani, has reportedly been roped in to write 'Padmavati.
