In a major breakthrough, Reasi and Kulgam police on Monday apprehended a terrorist from Jammu and Kashmir's Reasi district in a joint operation.
The militant, identified as Sabzar Ahmed Mantoo is a resident of khushibhatpura DH Pura Kulgam.
'In a joint operation launched by Reasi and Kulgam Police, one Sabzar Ahmed Mantoo, son of Gaffar Ahmed Mantoo, resident of Khushibhatpura, DH Pura, Kulgam, a C-category militant was apprehended alive,'' a senior police officer here said.
The militant was nabbed from the house of Nizam Din Pogli of Chinkah, tehsil Thakrakote.
He was involved in arson and looting of PS DH Pora in 2016 and many other militancy related incidents in Kulgam.
