Texas governor slams Ted Nugent for branding Obama 'subhuman mongrel'
Texas Governor Rick Perry has slammed rocker-turned-Second Amendment activist Ted Nugent for calling President Barack Obama a 'subhuman mongrel'.
Perry said Nugent saying something outrageous shouldn't surprise anyone.
The remarks resurfaced after the rocker campaigned with Republican Attorney General Greg Abbott, the Washington Times reports.
Nugent performed at Perry's inauguration in 2007.
