Textbooks could become history with rising Educational Apps

Following the increase in the development of educational apps, Smartphones and tablets are reportedly on their way to making textbooks a part of history.

Market Developer Paul Sowada said that fortunately, schools all across the country are easing up on their outside technology policies, adding that Pew research says 73 percent of teachers now allow smartphones and tablets inside the classroom.

According to Mashable, Educational apps such as can help students both in and out of the classroom.

Meanwhile, parents can use apps like Common Core to keep tabs on teaching standards for their local school district.
