Canadian singer The Weeknd, who was earlier arrested for punching a cop in Las Vegas, has now pleaded no contest and might be avoiding time behind bars.

The 'Can't Feel My Face' hit-maker has been asked to pay 1,000 dollars to the injured cop, complete anger management, go through alcohol evaluation and complete 50 hours of community service at a non-profit group in his native Canada, TMZ.com reported.

In January, The Weeknd was arrested for punching a cop in the head during a fight at the Cromwell Hotel.
