Veteran rocker The Who is set to release first new song after 8 years, to promote a new 50th anniversary hits compilation.

The members of English rock band that formed in 1964, Roger Daltrey and Pete Townshend, will be going on an anniversary tour shortly after the new hits collection is released, and will be accompanied by Zak Starkey and Pino Pallodino, as well as former Style Council star Mick Talbot, Contactmusic reported.

Classic tracks like I Can See For Miles, Magic Bus, Pinball Wizard, Won't Get Fooled Again and Be Lucky will also feature on the upcoming two-disc collection 'The Who Hits 50!'.
