Tiger Woods' plans to surprise his champion skiing girlfriend Lindsey Vonn during her 63rd World Cup Alpine ski win didn't pay off well for the American golfer, as the former world number one lost a tooth after being hit in the face by a camera.
Woods decided to surprise two-time world champion and an Olympic gold medallist in Alpine Ski, Vonn, who was competing in Cortina d'Ampezzo, Italy.
Woods' agent Mark Steinberg said that during a crush of photographers at the awards' podium, a media member with a shoulder-mounted video camera pushed and surged towards the stage, and turned and hit the golfer in the mouth, the BBC reported.
Steinberg added that Woods' tooth was knocked out by the incident.
