Jerry Bruckheimer has said that in 'Top Gun 2' Tom Cruise will be pitted against drones.
Bruckheimer said that for long don Simpson, he, and Curise hadn't been able to develop a story line and that it was Tony Scott, the film's original director, who cracked the story before his death in 2012, the Huffpost reported.
The 70-year-old producer said that the concept in the movie is that the pilots are obsolete because of drones, and Cruise is going to show them that they're not obsolete and they are there to stay.
