Toshiba Group will make a donation that exceeds seven million Yen to assist relief and recovery efforts in the aftermath of the devastating earthquake in Nepal.
It contains 5 million-Yen contribution through JAPAN PLATFORM (JPF) that is an international emergency humanitarian aid organization from Toshiba Corporation, Japan, and the donation from Toshiba Asia Pacific Pte, Ltd, seven Toshiba subsidiaries in India including Toshiba India Private Limited, Toshiba Information Equipment (Philippines), Inc., five Toshiba subsidiaries in the U.S.A including Toshiba America, Inc.
Some of these companies are continuing their employee donation programs now, which will increase the total amount of contribution consequently.
Toshiba Group extends all our sympathy and condolences to the victims of the earthquake, and sincerely hopes for the earliest possible recovery from this disaster.
