A transgender woman has been allegedly molested and attacked by a man in Kerala's Malappuram.
According to the victim, the incident took place on Sunday night when she went out with her friends for dinner and were confronted by a local goon, Shihab.
"When I said that we are transgenders, Shihab allegedly stripped us demanding to show our genitals," she told ANI.
She was allegedly brutally abused and attacked by the goon on the roadside.
The victim has registered a complaint with the police in this regard and is undergoing medical treatment at a local hospital.
Further investigation is underway.
