In a rare gesture, Hollywood rapper Travis Scott is now giving away $100,000 to his fans.
This comes at a time when his new album 'Astroworld' is topping the chartbusters.
The 'Goosebumps' rapper asked his followers to tweet lyrics from his latest album in order to receive the money he is distributing.
The rapper tweeted, "SO I KNOW ITS HARD FOR THE KIDS SO I DECIDED TO UNLOAD MY BANK ACCOUNT ON U GUYS. IM BUSTING DOWN $100,000 AND GIVING AWAY TO ANY FANS THAT CAN TWEET ME THERE CASH TAG WITH LYRICS FROM ASTRO. GANG !!"
Twitterverse had mixed reactions to the generous initiative taken up by the rapper.
A user tweeted, "angels, halos over me, i need blessings and my peace. $pvtrick."
Another follower who appreciated the move tweeted, "Sponsored or not this is legendary"
A user took a dig at the rapper and criticised the initiative.
He tweeted, ":( waiting cuz this is just travis refunding me for the 20 concerts/festivals I attended + all the merch"
'Astroworld' features Drake, Frank Ocean, Stevie Wonder, James Blake, Pharrell Williams, Tame Impala's Kevin Parker, Swae Lee, among many others.
