In a series of tweets, President Donald Trump on Tuesday criticised Attorney General Jeff Sessions for taking "very weak position" on Hillary Clinton.
Trump tweeted on a day when new Russia sanctions bill is heading to his desk, "Attorney General Jeff Sessions has taken a VERY weak position on Hillary Clinton crimes (where are E-mails & DNC server) & Intel leakers!" Trump wrote on Twitter.
"Problem is that the acting head of the FBI & the person in charge of the Hillary investigation, Andrew McCabe, got $700,000 from H for wife!,"Trump tweet.
Sessions made the decision to recuse himself from the Russian investigation after it was revealed that he had met the Russian Ambassador to U.S. Sergey Kislyak last year and did not disclose the meeting.
"Ukrainian efforts to sabotage Trump campaign - "quietly working to boost Clinton." So where is the investigation A.G.," Trump tweeted.
Trump has put forth the possibility of replacing Attorney General Jeff Sessions with former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani.
In a statement to the Senate and House intelligence committees, Jared Kushner has confirmed that he had "perhaps" four encounters with Russians during the 2016 campaign and transition in the 11-page statement but insisted that he discussed nothing improper during those meetings, which include two encounters with the Russian ambassador, a meeting with the head of a Russian state-owned bank and the June 2016 meeting with a Russian lawyer and others that was set up by Kushner's brother-in-law, Donald Trump Jr.
Trump tweeted, "Jared Kushner did very well yesterday in proving he did not collude with the Russians. Witch Hunt.
