U.S. President Donald Trump again took to twitter to slam the media saying "fake news" is being published.

Trump did not mention on which particular news story he was referring to, that has provoked him to tweet and accuse the country's media of printing incorrect stories.

Trump tweeted, "Fake News is at an all time high. Where is their apology to me for all of the incorrect stories???"

Accusing the country's press for publishing false stories, Trump said the Press has descended to a "new low".

"The Fake News Media has never been so wrong or so dirty. Purposely incorrect stories and phoney sources to meet their agenda of hate. Sad!" Trump wrote on Twitter.

Trump had repeatedly accused the country's media of printing incorrect stories related to his administration. His tweet came hours ahead of the appearance by Attorney General Jeff Sessions before the Senate intelligence committee on Tuesday afternoon regarding former FBI Director James Comey.
