Expressing "absolute solidarity" with the U.K. population, United States President Donald Trump has characterised Manchester terror attack's perpetrators as "evil losers, citing he would "call them from now on losers because that's what they are."

Trump said,"So many young beautiful innocent people living and enjoying their lives murdered by evil losers in life. I won't call them monsters because they would like that term. They would think that's a great name. I will call them from now on losers because that's what they are."

Trump offered condolence in connection with the terrorist attack on a concert in the city of Manchester that killed at least 22 and left 59 people injured, including children.

"I extend my deepest condolence to those so terribly injured in this terrorist attack and to the many killed and the families, so many families, of the victims. We stand in absolute solidarity with the people of the United Kingdom," Trump said, in his first comment on Monday's incident.

Trump delivered his remarks alongside Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas in the West Bank city of Bethlehem, where both the leaders are discussing advance peace talks on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict

Meanwhile, the Manchester Police confirmed that a lone male suicide bomber was behind the explosion, during an Ariana Grande concert at Manchester Arena.

Greater Manchester Police chief constable Ian Hopkins, confirmed the attack was carried out by one man although detectives were still trying to establish if he "was acting alone or as part of a network.
