Both Republican Donald Trump and Democrat Hillary Clinton eyeing for the prestigious White House enjoy equal popularity with the Indo-American community.

This is quite evident from the viewpoint of the Indo-American community residing in the United States.

Indian American voter Nishiba in an exclusive conversation told ANI that both are equally popular among them.

When asked if the Indians are leaning towards Hillary or Trump, Nishiba said: "Both of them have 50-50 chances with the Indo-American community."

When asked why she would be voting for Hillary, Nishiba said, "First of all I'm a democrat and I believe she is going to do good for the country as well as neighbouring countries especially in fighting terrorism."

"Trump is also fighting for the same things but I'm not very sure about him. So, I will vote for Hillary," she added.

On Monday, Clinton, a former secretary of state and former first lady, held a small 4-percentage-point lead over the GOP presidential nominee, according to a CBS News poll measuring the state of the race before the polls opened.

On Sunday, Clinton led Trump48 percent- 43 percent in a Washington Post/ABC tracking poll, 44 percent - 40 percent in an NBC/Wall Street Journal poll and 45 percent - 42 percent in a Politico/Morning Consult poll.
