United States President Donald Trump on Thursday appreciated the US state administration for handling the militant group Islamic State in Syria.
President Trump took to his Twitter account to say that Syria could be attacked "soon or not so soon at all".
"Never said when an attack on Syria would take place. Could be very soon or not so soon at all! In any event, the United States, under my Administration, has done a great job of ridding the region of ISIS. Where is our "Thank you America?" Trump tweeted.
Earlier on Wednesday the United States reportedly disagreed over a probe in the usage of chemical weapons in Syria.
US ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley while blaming Syrian President Bashar Al Assad accused Russia of "protecting a monster over the lives of the Syrian people".
Earlier on Thursday French President Emmanuel Macron claimed that he has the proof for the usage of chemical weapons during an air strike at Douma in Syria.
As per Independent, Macron called for a "strong and joint response" to last weekend's attack on the Syrian town, which left a reported 70 people dead and 500 more injured.
Earlier on Tuesday, it was reported that a team of international chemical weapons experts is expected to go to Douma to investigate a suspected poison gas attack.
