He wrote on Twitter, "All our fans & press friends in INDIA, @priyankachopra SLAYS our #Baywatch! Trust my plan..The #Boss is comin'."
Priyanka's Hollywood debut is one of the most anticipated releases of next year and her fans in India could not wait to see her as Victoria Leeds in the first trailer of the film.
But her one shot emergence in the official clip that released on Thursday, disheartened everyone.
The 44-year-old thus took to his social media to reassure Chopra's fans to '#Wait4VictoriaLeeds.'
Further, the Desi Girl replied to Dwayne's tweet saying, "lol...thank you DJ...trusted you from day one. India loves you and will love everything about Baywatch! #Wait4VictoriaLeeds @TheRock."
Directed by 'Horrible Bosses' Seth Gordon, 'Baywatch' and also stars Zac Efron, Alexandra Daddario, Ilfenesh Hadera, Kelly Rohrbach and is sltaed to release on May 26, 2017.
