Twitter's head of global revenue has said that Apple Pay service will be beneficial for the social networking site that launched its Twitter Commerce program on Monday.

Apple unveiled its new service Apple Pay earlier on Tuesday that lets the users pay at the register from iPhone 6 using its passbook app to save credit-card information, reported CNET.

Apple Pay was launched a day after Twitter introduced its Titter Commerce program that enables users to buy products directly from Commerce program.

Twitter Commerce is available on iOS and Android operating systems.
