Two new faces inducted into Maharashtra cabinet

Prithviraj Chavan led Congress-NCP Government today expanded its ministry with the induction of two ministers.

Former chief minister Vilasrao Deshmukh's son, Amit Deshmukh has been inducted into the cabinet ; along with him Abdul Sattar has been sworn in as a cabinet minister.

Both were administered oath of office and secrecy by Governor K Sankaranarayanan here at Raj Bhawan.

Maharashtra is slated to hold Assembly elections which is due at the end of this year.
