A cow and a snake trapped inside an empty well in Sekhpur village were rescued here on Friday.
"The animals trapped inside an empty well in Sekhpur village area were rescued with help of locals and Animal Husbandry Department," Additional District Magistrate (ADM) Gulab Chandra told ANI.
Rakesh Bansal, former Municipal President, said: "I got to know from villagers that a cow was trapped in a well. They also told me that a snake was already there in the well. Subsequently, I have informed the municipality."
