UP govt. increases MLALAD fund

The Uttar Pradesh government on Tuesday increased the MLALAD fund for the state MLAs.

The fund that was earlier Rs. 1.5 crore has been increased to Rs. 2 crores.

The decision was taken by the UP Cabinet during a meeting.

The Cabinet further approved the Transfer Policy 2018-19 for four years, under which, 20 percent transfer will be possible and the session for the same will be held between April 1 and May 31.

Rs 23 crore has also been approved by the UP Cabinet to provide clean drinking water in 10 districts.

A project of 170 mobile medical units will also be tendered, decided the Cabinet.
