A student of Central York High School was suspended for three days after he asked Miss America Nina Davuluri to the prom at a school event even after he was asked by the school administration to shelve his plan.
Patrick Farves, a senior at the school said that at that point in time, it was 10 minutes before the presentation, and he was pretty much set to do it.e said that he was a little pressured as everybody expected him to do it, the York Daily Record reported.
The 18-year-old asked Davuluri to go with her on prom with a plastic flower and also requested for a selfie.
Farves added that he understood why the administration was mad and he did not want to be the kind of person to try to justify himself.
